Dear food enthusiasts,
I would like to thank all of my guests for coming to the Yumwe event last night.
We had a lovely evening with an exquisite 3 course menu and plenty of wine. The 6 of us went through 7 bottles and a round of liqueur. This little wine tasting we had included, took us through magnificent drops from Italy over Portugal to Spain, and was simply the perfect accompaniment to our inspiring dishes:
Starter: Rucola salad with figs in cherry wine sauce and roasted goat cheese
Main course: Salmon with spinach topping and lemon-garlic-curry potatoes
Dessert: Fondant au chocolat with raspberry sauce
I couldn’t think of a better thing to do on a cold and wintery Saturday night. Stay tuned, the next event for the Hamburg community will be announced soon!
